Invitation to the 5th Osaka City Education Forum

We are pleased to announce the 5th Osaka City Education Forum, hosted by the Osaka City Board of Education. This year’s theme is "Fostering Children Who Learn Independently and Authentically in Osaka: Collaborating to Create Society." The forum will feature a plenary session and diverse breakout sessions.

While prior registration (deadline: December 16) is required, participation is open to everyone. For more details, please refer to the attached PDF.

In Breakout Session C, Professor Noboru Takahashi, representing the Minor Program, will be one of the speakers. He will be joined by Ms. Tomoe Baba, Senior Superintendent from the Osaka City Board of Education.

  • Breakout Session C: "Advancing Education for Children Returning to or Newly Arriving in Japan"
    • Based on the 2023 Osaka City Survey on the Learning and Living Conditions of Children with Foreign Roots.
