In order to realize and sustain a multicultural society where people with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds respect each other and are equally rewarded for their efforts, it is essential to enhance education. In the Advanced Japanese Language Education Support and Enhancement Area, graduate students from Japan and abroad, while utilizing their respective expertise and learning collaboratively beyond each other's roots, conduct educational and research activities on Japanese language education and intercultural and multicultural understanding required by today's increasingly globalized society.
